Carlos Seise was born to sing. After studying at the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico, he was given a government scholarship to continue his studies in New York with renowned opera coach Carmen Savoca and Payton Hibbit, former teachers of the great Spanish tenor, Placido Domingo. Upon his return to Puerto Rico in 1987, Mr. Seise entered the Metropolitan Opera House Regional Auditions winning first prize in the tenor category. Shortly after, he made his singing debut as Rodolfo in "La Boheme" which became one of his signature roles.

His singing career has since been a succession of triumphs starting with his tenor role in C.Orff "Carmina Burana", with the Dominican Republic Symphony to opera houses world wide, performing leading tenor roles in LaTraviata, Tosca, Madame Butterfly, Don Pasquale, Cosi fanTutte and Amahl and the Night Visitors, and many others. His newest operatic roles include, Rigoletto, Faust, L’elixir D’amore and Werther.

Most recently, Seise performed in the world premiere of two contemporary operas written especially for him, "Bethlehem Inn" by Puerto Rican composer Roberto Milano, and “Benito Sereno” by Spanish composer J.I Morales from Madrid, in September and December of 2005 he also performed at Carnegie Hall.

Oratorios include, Requiems of Mozart and Verdi, Coronation Mass, by Mozart, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Magnificat, by Bach and Schubert’s Mass in G and several others. Seise has performed as a concert soloist with leading symphonies and in solo recitals in Achen, Bakersfield, Belpre, Bohn, Bogotá, Boston, Buenos Aires, Burbank, Caracas, Ciudad del Carmen, Chicago, Cleveland, Cordoba, Chihuahua, Dallas, Detroit, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Fremont, Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Guadalajara, Hartford, Houston, Kansas City, Lapeer, London, Los Angeles, Managua, Mayagüez, Mendoza, Mexico City, Miami, Montreal, Munich, Muskegon, Neuquen, Newark, New York City, Orlando, Panama City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Ponce, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, San Juan, San Rafael, Santiago, Santiago del Estero, Santo Domingo, Tampa, Toledo, Toronto, Vienna, Villa Hermosa, Visalia and Washington DC, to name a few. His generous spirit is amply demonstrated by his efforts to help to raise money for his charitable programs in Argentina.
